Main use cases

  • Find and replace deactivated activities that you’re still promoting to avoid any potential loss of conversions.

  • Understand how many visitors you’ve recently sent to deactivated activities, i.e. how much potentially negative conversion rate impact they might have.

When to check the report
We recommend checking the report at least once per month to stay up to date with your integration health. Making sure that the activities you’re promoting are active is important for the user experience and ultimately your conversion rate.

Important:
Avoid blind spots

You only see data for pages where you have the integration analyzer installed. Please install the integration analyzer on all of your pages, so we're able to notify you about all deactivated activities that you're promoting.

Our safeguard
We have several fallbacks in place in case you send a visitor to a non-available (deactivated) activity to ensure the least impact on your conversion rate. For example, we’ll redirect the visitor to a similar activity or an activity collection of the point of interest/location. Still, we encourage you to replace your integrations for unavailable tours to achieve the best possible user experience and conversion rate.

Event date
The event date is the time frame for which we show you the visitor and integration impression numbers.

Locations
You can filter for relevant locations by adjusting the continent, country, area/state, and city filter.

Notice: An area can be a region, province, state, district, county, etc. – but also an island (like Mallorca in Spain) or a country in itself (like England in Britain).

Visitors
A visitor is a user clicking on an integration on your website and then landing on GetYourGuide. We show you multiple visitor metrics (yesterday / 7 days / 30 days / all), so you’re able to gauge the impact of your integrations promoting deactivated activities (the more visitors, the more potential impact on your conversions).

Please note that the visitors metrics depend on the “Event Date” filter. The “All Visitors” metric will show you the total visitor count based on the time frame set in the filter. The other visitor metrics will show you the visitors for yesterday / the last 7 days / the last 30 days – unless you set a time frame that is shorter than these spans.

Once you’ve replaced a deactivated activity, you can compare the different time frames (yesterday / 7 days / 30 days) to make sure that your visitors to these activities decrease towards 0 in more recent time frames. If they don’t, you might’ve missed to replace a few integrations somewhere. Check the second table to identify the pages on your website.

Why do I see deactivated activities with 0 visitors in the list?
If you see activities where all visitor metrics are 0, it means there were no visitors from these tours in the selected time frame (filter “Event Date”). But there have been impressions for the activity integration, i.e. readers on your website have seen it but didn’t click it. In this case, we still show you these tours so you can replace them and avoid that someone does eventually click on a deactivated activity integration.

If you have already replaced the integrations, try setting a shorter time frame (filter “Event date”) after the date when you had replaced them. If there were no more impressions and visitors from these integrations, the activities shouldn’t show up in the table anymore.

Integration type
We split the integrations and impressions into the two integration types deeplink and widget to help you identify what integrations need to be replaced on the page.

Integrations
This is the number of unique integrations (a deeplink or widget with a specific configuration linking to the activity). Please note that a unique integration is only counted once, even if you use it multiple times.

Impressions
This is the number of times a unique integration (a deeplink or widget with specific configuration linking to the activity) was viewed by visitors on your website. Please note that this is not the impression count of the page but how often the specific deeplinks or widgets were seen on all of your pages combined.

Replacements
Follow the provided link to GetYourGuide to find replacement activities in the same location. We also recommend using the bestseller coverage report to find the top-selling activities. Prioritize bestsellers to achieve the best conversion rate.

How to find the integrations (deeplinks/widgets) on your website
Use the tour id or tour title to find integrations (deeplinks or widgets) in your content that are promoting deactivated activities.
For deeplinks: search your source code for -t12345 (replace 12345 with the activity id you’re looking for).
For widgets: search your source code for tour-ids="12345" (replace 12345 with the activity id you’re looking for).

Download data
